Actinidia arguta - Kiwi

continental : We suggest to place the Actinidia arguta where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
We can place this plants outside; also in winter they can tolerate very rigid temperatures without any problem.

alpine : Place the Actinidia arguta in a location exposed to direct sunlight.
These plants can tolerate also very intense frosts without any problem.

mediterranean : These plants need to be exposed to direct sunlight; in summer they can be exposed to a slight shadow without any problem.
Place the Actinidia arguta in the garden all year long; they do not suffer from cold.

Feed Actinidia arguta : It is advisable a regular fertilizing, with stable manure or with a slow-release granular fertilizer; mix the selected fertilizer with the soil, at the base of the plant, every 3-4 months, slightly burying it with the support of a small hoe.

continental : Give very regular waterings; all year long the soil shall be kept humid, however avoiding dangerous stagnations. Increase waterings in summer and decrease them when autumn starts.

alpine : We suggest frequent and generous waterings, so that the soil remains mostly humid all year long. It is possible to decrease waterings in winter.

mediterranean : It is advisable to give regular waterings, specially during spring and summer; before giving again water make sure the soil is dry.

Adversity Actinidia arguta : Fruit plants are often attacked by many parasites; as far as insects are concerned apply specific treatments avoiding to do it during blossoming. At the end of winter and in autumn spray the whole plant with a broad-spectrum fungicide.
