continental : Place these plants in a sunny place, where they can be exposed for at least few hours a day to direct sunlight.
There are not big problems to grow these plants, since they can easily tolerate also very intense frosts.

alpine : We remind to place these plants always in a very bright location, exposed to direct sunlight.
They are rustic plants that tolerate frost very well; therefore they can be grown outside all year long.

Fertilize Actinidia chinensis : Fertilizings shall be rather regular and generous; it is advisable to use a slow-release fertilizer, which releases a continuous action for about 3-4 months. Therefore, starting from winter, mix a granular fertilizer with the soil every 3-4 months.

Pests Actinidia chinensis : We suggest to apply at the end of winter a Bordeaux mixture treatment, to be applied again after blossoming; check the presence of fungal parasites which shall be eliminated immediately. In autumn spray all the foliage with a broad-spectrum fungicide, to avoid fungal spores to winter near the plant.
