continental : We suggest to place the Alcea rosea where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
We can place this plants outside; also in winter they can tolerate very rigid temperatures without any problem.

alpine : Place the Alcea rosea in a location exposed to direct sunlight.
These plants can tolerate also very intense frosts without any problem.

mediterranean : These plants need to be exposed to direct sunlight; in summer they can be exposed to a slight shadow without any problem.

Feed Alcea rosea : These plants need regular fertilizings, to obtain a beautiful foliage and generous blooms. It is advisable therefore to add a slow-release fertilizer to the soil in which they will be planted, and later on use a fertilizer to be dissolved in normal waterings, every 10-15 days.

In any case avoid treatments during bloom for not injuring the pollinating insects.
