Amorpha fruticosa - Desert false indigo

continental : Avoid too much sunny locations, preferring semishady places.

mediterranean : It is suggested to place the Amorpha fruticosa in a semishady location, away from direct sunlight for most part of the day.
This plant is very rustic and tolerate winter climate without any problem.

Fertilize Amorpha fruticosa : It is advisable to use a ripe organic fertilizer, to be buried at the base of the plant at the end of winter and at the end of summer; alternatively we can use a slow-release granular fertilizer.

continental : These plants shall be watered regularly from March to October, avoiding excessive waterings and remember to allow the soil to dry out well between two waterings. During cold months we can avoid watering.

Pests Amorpha fruticosa : We can apply a copper and sulphur treatment at the beginning of the vegetative period, which avoids the emerging of different kinds of fungus; during the rest of the year apply pesticide or fungicide treatments only in case a big amount of parasites is on the plants.
