continental : We suggest to place The Cosmos bipinnatus where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
It is advisable to cover the plant in winter with frost cloth, specially in case of intense frosts.

alpine : Place The Cosmos bipinnatus in a location exposed to direct sunlight.
These plants do not tolerate long and intense frosts; for this reason we suggest to cover them with frost cloth during cold months.

mediterranean : These plants need to be exposed to direct sunlight; in summer they can be exposed to a slight shadow without any problem.
We suggest to grow these plants in the garden all year long, since they tolerate temperatures also close to -5°C without any problem.

Feed Cosmos bipinnatus : These plants need regular fertilizings, to obtain a beautiful foliage and generous blooms. It is advisable therefore to add a slow-release fertilizer to the soil in which they will be planted, and later on use a fertilizer to be dissolved in normal waterings, every 10-15 days.

continental : Waterings shall be regular, but not excessive; allow the soil to dry out well between two waterings. Specially in spring and summer remember to give a good amount of water while watering.

Adversity Cosmos bipinnatus : Apply a precautionary treatment against fungal diseases at the end of winter; later on treatments will be applied only in case parasites are on the plant, trying to use specific products and not broad-spectrum ones. In any case avoid treatments during bloom for not injuring the pollinating insects.
