continental : These plants like shady or semishady locations, where they are exposed for few hours a day to direct sunlight.
These plants do not tolerate temperatures below 10-12°C for long periods; it is advisable to replace them inside the house with the first cold weather of the season, or to grow them as houseplants all year long.

Feed Delosperma congestum : It is advisable to fertilize these plants every 25-30 days, from April to September, using a specific fertilizer for succulent plants, rich of potassium and poor in nitrogen.

continental : Give very regular waterings; all year long the soil shall be kept humid, however avoiding dangerous stagnations. Increase waterings in summer and decrease them when autumn starts.

alpine : We suggest frequent and generous waterings, so that the soil remains mostly humid all year long. It is possible to decrease waterings in winter.

mediterranean : It is advisable to give regular waterings, specially during spring and summer; before giving again water make sure the soil is dry.

Adversity Delosperma congestum : We suggest two precautionary treatments a year against the cochineal, to be applied at the end of winter and at the end of summer, using mineral oil.
