continental : These plants like shady or semishady locations, where they are exposed for few hours a day to direct sunlight.

alpine : Place these plants in a semishady location, where they are exposed to direct sunlight for short periods of time.
These plants can tolerate also very intense frosts without any problem.

mediterranean : Place these plants in a semishady location, not excessively exposed to direct sunlight.
Place the Dicentra eximia in the garden all year long; they do not suffer from cold.

Feed Dicentra eximia : During the vegetative period bulbous plants are fertilized regularly, using a specific fertilizer to be dissolved in normal waterings, every 15-20 days; a good fertilizing improves next year bloom.
