These plants can tolerate also very intense frosts without any problem.

mediterranean : It is advisable to place these plants in a semishady location, away from sunlight.
Place The Dryopteris goldiana in the garden all year long; they do not suffer from cold.

Feed Dryopteris goldiana : It is advisable to fertilize regularly, using a fertilizer to be dissolved in normal waterings; from March to October fertilize every 10-15 days, during the rest of the year fertilizings will be more occasional, even once each 30-45 days.

continental : Waterings shall be regular, but not excessive; allow the soil to dry out well between two waterings. Specially in spring and summer remember to give a good amount of water while watering.
