continental : Avoid too much sunny locations, preferring semishady places.
There are not big problems to grow these plants, since they can easily tolerate also very intense frosts.

alpine : For a balanced growth and in order to avoid leaves sunburns place this plant in a semishady location.
They are rustic plants that tolerate frost very well; therefore they can be grown outside all year long.

mediterranean : It is suggested to place the Eriophorum angustifolium in a semishady location, away from direct sunlight for most part of the day.
This plant is very rustic and tolerate winter climate without any problem.

Fertilize Eriophorum angustifolium : Fertilizings are given during the vegetative period, from March to October; it can be used a slow-release fertilizer, to be placed on the soil in two different times, once at the end of winter and once at the end of summer. It can be also used a fertilizer to be dissolved in normal waterings every 15-20 days. Avoid fertilizings in autumn and winter.
