continental : It is advisable a shady location, away from direct sunlight.
It is advisable to cover the plant in winter with frost cloth, specially in case of intense frosts.

alpine : It is advisable a shady exposure, away from direct sunlight.
These plants do not tolerate long and intense frosts; for this reason we suggest to cover them with frost cloth during cold months.

mediterranean : It is advisable to place these plants in a semishady location, away from sunlight.
We suggest to grow these plants in the garden all year long, since they tolerate temperatures also close to -5°C without any problem.

Feed Ligularia dentata : From March to October fertilize using a fertilizer to be added to normal waterings, every 15-20 days; for your convenience it is also possible to use a slow-release granular fertilizer, to be placed around the plant every 3-4 months.

continental : Grow the Ligularia dentata in a mostly dry soil, watering only in case of long drought or in case the substrate is very dry.

alpine : The Ligularia dentata prefers a dry soil, it does not suffer from drought; intervene and give water only during spring and summer, every 7-9 days, avoiding excessive watering, however watering the soil deeply. When the cold season starts decrease waterings or suspend them.

mediterranean : For the Ligularia dentata waterings can be not frequent, since these plants do not tolerate an excessive humidity of the soil; therefore always allow the soil to dry out between two waterings, leaving the plants without watering also for few days.
