Perovskia abrotanoides - Russian sage

continental : We suggest to place the Perovskia abrotanoides where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
We can place this plants outside; also in winter they can tolerate very rigid temperatures without any problem.

alpine : Place the Perovskia abrotanoides in a location exposed to direct sunlight.
These plants can tolerate also very intense frosts without any problem.

mediterranean : These plants need to be exposed to direct sunlight; in summer they can be exposed to a slight shadow without any problem.
Place the Perovskia abrotanoides in the garden all year long; they do not suffer from cold.

Feed Perovskia abrotanoides : Fertilize our shrubs using an organic fertilizer or a slow-release granular fertilizer, intervening at the end of winter and at the end of summer. Use potassium-rich fertilizers for our flowering plants, nitrogen-rich fertilizer for green plants.

continental : Give very regular waterings; all year long the soil shall be kept humid, however avoiding dangerous stagnations. Increase waterings in summer and decrease them when autumn starts.

Adversity Perovskia abrotanoides : Apply a precautionary treatment against fungal diseases at the end of winter; later on treatments will be applied only in case parasites are on the plant, trying to use specific products and not broad-spectrum ones. In any case avoid treatments during bloom for not injuring the pollinating insects.
