Pontederia cordata - Pickerelweed

continental : We suggest to place the Pontederia cordata where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
We can place this plants outside; also in winter they can tolerate very rigid temperatures without any problem.

alpine : Place the Pontederia cordata in a location exposed to direct sunlight.
These plants can tolerate also very intense frosts without any problem.

mediterranean : These plants need to be exposed to direct sunlight; in summer they can be exposed to a slight shadow without any problem.
Place the Pontederia cordata in the garden all year long; they do not suffer from cold.

Feed Pontederia cordata : Fertilize water plants by using a slow-release fertilizer to be buried at their base, or we can use specific fertilizers for water plants, to be dissolved in the little lake or in the little pond in which the plants are grown.
