Feed Vanda tessellata : These plants need regular fertilizings, to be supplied every 15-20 days all year long; suspend fertilizings only during bloom or during a possible rest period. A specific fertilizer shall be used for orchids, alternatively use half portion, compared to the one used for the other plants, of universal fertilizer. Avoid to leave the roots soaked with the fertilizing solution during night hours.

Adversity Vanda tessellata : Often these plants are attacked by cochineal or other small insects, that shall be eliminated with specific products, avoiding to wet flowers. A correct growth normally prevents fungal diseases.
