continental : We suggest to place the Viola odorata where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
alpine : Place the Viola odorata in a location exposed to direct sunlight.
mediterranean : These plants need to be exposed to direct sunlight; in summer they can be exposed to a slight shadow without any problem.
